I saw this. It was like you said, Slicksuit, a lot of basics. It was an all-male audience, and they were trying to encourage men to dress a little nicer, while keeping it within the average male's comfort zone.
I really liked the Casual Weekend look -- I like toggle coats and sweaters on guys. I did not like the straight leg jeans -- they looked too long, and that was emphasized because they were too small at the bottom to drape. (I'm sure that's an "in" look right now, but I don't like it.)
The best thing they emphasized was the fit. They talked about buying a tux because it's so much better than rented tuxes, and for basics like oxford shirts to seek out companies that cater to your body type. (slim cuts for slim guys, etc.)

Yes. It seemed like the suits Matt Deckard was talking about from polo. They fit the body very well. Also, they're was a lot of ideas that used classic types of sportcoats and overcoats with jeans and a nice pair of shoes. Can you wear jeans and still be vintage?

I watched this too. (I know I'm corny for taping Martha 
) I like the weekend look but the other pants and the suits looked too close fitting (tight) to me. The silm fitting jeans were so low rise. [huh] I didn't dig it too much.

But of course it sounds like my examples are not in line with what Martha had in mind which is ok because most of us on this forum dance to the beat of our own tune and not of the rest of the world right?
