Do you go Commando?

I have gone without with an OBG as others have mentioned. It made me nervous. Not about accidentally flashing anyone, but about the girdle potentially getting in the way in the ladies room, if you follow. Much prefer a nice garter belt with band leg briefs over it.

I always undo the back garter straps and flip up the back of the girdle before engaging in necessary functions. Takes a little longer to put yourself back together after the deed is done, but the precaution is worth it.

My preference has always been "Going Harlow". She loved to go without undies or a bra!

I love it! I recall a story about Tallulah where she called up a young actor to come over and read the lines with her for the movie they were appearing in together. When he opened the door she completely naked. You can figure out what happened next.....

So Harlow or Tallulah, they sound much better for us women!

The simple answer is: sometimes. I try to wear panties as little as possible because it is generally much healthier for your lady bits if you go without. However, as a lady that has a fair amount of (please pardon the word) discharge, I find that it is much more convenient to have some sort of barrier. For this, I wear simple cotton boyshorts. I have not found a way to fix the panty line problems with this, though, as I find bikini briefs and thongs absolutely unbearable, and I don't want to soil my trousers or skirt.

I always wear underpants even when I sleep I wear them under my nightgown. I love putting on a fresh pair of underpants each morning choose one that expresss how I want to feel that day. While I may be the only one who know what underpants I am wearing most days they give me a little more confidence

Never mind underpants, I hate going without my girdle. As you know, Lizzie, we get so used to them. I have to have a girdle hold my belly in, cut in my waist, hug my bottom while pulling my thighs in together, with the suspenders holding my nylons up, I just couldn't go without for long. I'd even miss the lower hem of my girdle around my upper legs. I only ever, you know what I mean feel 'right' in a girdle.

As far as I'm concerned, wearing modern panties under tap pants/French knickers is crazy... And wearing panties UNDER a girdle just makes life v. difficult. That's why panties from the girdle-wearing period were so big - so they would fit OVER the girdle. Those super-modest girls from the 1920s, 30s and 40s didn't see the need to wear two pairs of pants, and I don't see why I should either!

I do Tudor re-enactment, and they hadn't invented panties then, so, being an authenticity freak, neither do I. But also, if you are wearing really thick heavy skirts and a shift underneath, it just doesn't make sense. Certain things are very tricky... From time to time I see ladies desperately trying to pluck at their underwear through said skirts and laugh.

Saying all of this, I wore a 30s bias cut wedding dress and I was determined that I would not go into church with no panties on! It took me a very long time to track down some 30s pants which did not have any problematic seams, but I think it was worthwhile!

Wearing panties, or anything under a girdle, must be torture. As a lifelong girdle wearer I can't imagine that. But I must wear any sort of a knickers, panties or even underpants over my girdle, I'd feel awful otherwise in an open girdle that I wear all the time. I wear it principally because I'm so used to it holding me up since I started out in girdles many moons ago. I feel neat and tidy and nice and firm.

I like to wear bloomers when I can get them as they conceal the girdle, suspenders and stocking tops completely.

I really don't like the thought of going commando! I have so many wobbly bits down there that I'd much rather wear full leg pants than nothing. I tried those stick on ones for backless dresses, but found they never stuck quite well enough!

The only answer for an ample behind is a good firm girdle!
