Pack of sausage crumbled up and browned in a skillet...mixed into a can of refried beans, smothered with cheese and salsa, and shoveled in with tortilla chips and washed down with pbr.

Salmon, garlic noodles, large spinach salad. And a side of cold medicine & cough drops. Guess who picked up a cold being the "room mom" last week in Lily's class? Not amused.
Not tonight but went to a do last night where there was a bit of a feast. Rakfisk (lightly salted trout which is fermented for 100 days) for the starter and wild venison which was shot this autumn with viltsaus (game sauce made from stock, cream, crushed juniper berries, Norwegian brown cheese and a few other secret ingredients). Seriously good grub.
