Widebrim's Ties- Nov. 2012

After a long hiatus, I'm back, and am offering some nice neckties in the process...

On the left we have a nifty Wembley tie with quail pattern, brocaded, 52" x 4", rayon(?). $9. On the right is a lovely Penney's Towncraft tie w/ flamingoes and palm trees, 52" x 3 3/4," acetate(?) On back of front blade, there is a drawing of two paint brushes enveloped by a sash which reads, "INDIVIDUALLY HANDPAINTED." $12. Postage not included; both ties are in very good condition. Okay, here is the next batch, both being in good condition...



On the left is an early Towncraft Cravat, 46" by 4", with a brown background and hand-painted motifs of green and yellow (featuring geese); rayon. $10 Next is a beautiful Signet butterfly tie, originally sold by Carson Pirie Scott & Son (The Mens's Store). Measures 46" x 4 1/2", and features a light steel gray brocaded background, with yellow, beige, and scarlet butterflies. Has a small piece of material missing on back of front blade, which is not in any way visible when worn; feels like rayon. $8
