Thedi Leathers, thoughts?

The workmanship and leathers are remarkably similar. Barring a trip to Greece (I understand it's quite cheap there just now) to check what's going on, I doubt they'll ever cough to what's really going on. It did make kind of sense, given the sudden drop outs of leathers, variable waiting times and what-not. I think I can hear Andy F blowing a fuse as I type this post...

I know the BK guys are very strange but is there any reason why this would be kept secret? Also why would Thedi say they had no knowledge of BK? Surely far better to stay silent.

Didn't Thedi start up around the time that BK raised their prices and joined up with a British firm, or something like that?

Theodoros seems like a really stand up guy, I'd be pretty surprised and disappointed if he was intentionally misrepresenting his company.

It wouldn't bother me if they were linked, it's more the denying it, what benefit would there to lie about it?

There is the possiblity that Thedi is a contract maker for BK. If so, BK could not be an independent artisan jacket maker(as they claim) like their competition which is worth a lot of kudos in the jacket business. They would be just another brand retailer who have others make their products. There could be a commercial confidentiality agreement in place, hence the denial.

Theodoros has been making jackets for quite some time, and he's not too interested in the military repop game.
More the Moto styles for him. Some very fine belts and wallets too.

I'd like to see more of his work. The few pieces I've seen were original and interesting, with nice little touches. We see quite a lot of jackets on this forum, but the few of his I've seen really stood out for me.

Theodoros is one hell of a creative beast. Flourishes that might look tacky on other jackets look inspired on his works. He has mastered the art of form and style.

I love that you are talking about my company .
We need to put τηε things in their proper place.
With frankness and a few words I will explain.
When I start this wonderful journey with my beloved Dimitra I was 20 years old.
First stage ,
I learned the process and selection of raw hides working long hours and producing the leathers which I needed for our production in local tanneries of Thessaloniki.
I did wholesale exclusively on the domestic market of Greece from 1982-1999,
200 points of sale throughout Greece.
I was in the market along with companies such Chevinion, Avirex, Schoot, Redskins maintaining a good chunk of the market.
In 2000 begins my journey (8 years) in the world designing for Harley-Davidson only for the European market, with my first stop in Istanbul, then to Bulgaria and third and largest India (Chennai)
I was responsible for the design and supervision of production exclusively for the European market
Thousands jackets, many collections, many acquaintances, great experience.
In recent years, since I lost my beloved from cancer, based in Thessaloniki maintaining a retail outlet (only with my own products) and a beautiful workshop in the center of the City.
Those places can be visited for anyone who wants to see them.

We have points of sale of our products in Germany, Switzerland and the US (I recently handed in store Epualet NY 40 jackets, and I have a new order from Thurston which will deliver in January)
We work of many hours daily throughout the week to respond to the great interest from around the world for our products.
I sincerely assure you that I do not know anything about this company (BK) and for the man behind it.
I heard first time this name (kelso) of my friend David (himmel).
There is nowhere I asked many friends and customers in Athens, but nobody knows anything about him.
If he has factory or workshop where he doing the production, he must declare. (Address)

I do not know mr. Ken and generally what he knows, but on this issue I can assure you that knows nothing and speaks only to say something that is not true.

I had seen the photos (very nice) wearing the jacket and it was nice topic of discussion for many days in our workshop.
We feel great satisfaction when our client
