Sure, Joao!! 4 out of 5 pulmonologists recommend Biltmores to their patients that wear hats.

Joao, no wonder you had trouble breathing. That 20X is SMOKIN'!!! :)
Thank you moe.
Jokes apart, this was quite serious since I almost could not talk.

ah ah ;)
Sadly the pharmacies opened at night do not have the drugs I need so I'm a bit worst now. Need to go to the opened ones now.

Impressive display of hats! Everyone looks great!

Sorry for the repost from a couple of days ago but I found a picture of my hat as it looked when I originally bought it. It was a boogered up unknown Western, probably a store brand. "Sherwood Saddlery, 100% Pure Fur". The price was right and the felt seemed pretty nice too. After some cleaning, some light pouncing, reblocking, trimming the brim and reflanging, change out the ribbon, and this is the result....

As it originally looked when I bought it online from a guy in Montana...

Jeff, I *almost* grabbed a similar-looking Knox Homburg when I headed out the door this morning, but yours appears much nicer. The cooler temps encouraged me to grab the same insulated flat cap as yesterday. Felt no need to re-post the pic.

Yesterday was one of the best days watching the lounge for this hat geek. Everyone just had spectacular stuff. Thanks for sharing it all and for all of the kind words about both the Stetson and the Moonie Knox.

Woke up to 25 degrees, snow showers and lots of wind. So I am staying warm and under the first homburg I acquired (and that is still one of my favorites), an old Vita-Felt Premier.

Take care of that, Joao...

Today I grabbed a stingy Custom Hatter of Buffalo to keep warm...

This was one of two Gary made for me using NOS Borsalino(?) blanks with Cavanagh brims. Sweet little find a few years back...

New this year Pen. Board shirt!
That looks like really nice work, Charlie. Fantastic ribbon!

By the way, where is the selfie stick?

Joao, with the others, I hope you're doing OK. Thanks everybody for the nice comments on Grandma's Royal Stetson yesterday. I agree that everyone's bringing their A game lately!
Charlie, I'd love a better shot of that ribbon, it looks fantastic.
Safetyfast - what is that?

Today, we're featuring another rescue project from Fruno's Wayward Hat Shelter. I found this Resistol a week or so ago at a shop in Cincy while I was antiquing with my wife. Having been bitten by the thin ribbon, Open Road bug, I've been looking for a San Antonio. This one doesn't say San Antonio in it, but hey, I ain't picky! My Open Road doesn't say Open Road in it, either!

The whole, sordid story is over on The Resistol Roundup.
