What a great variety today. Cold temperatures but nice rays of sunshine here today.

Stetson Racine.

I thought I would throw the proverbial “hat in the ring” as it were, and show you folks some of the hats I happen to have in my personal inventory.

The first is my Coke (AKA Bowler or more commonly Derby the US side of the pond) from Lock & Co. in London England. This venerable firm is the world’s oldest hat shop, having been around since 1758. I have been to their wonderful store in St. James where they actually use a venerable device called a conformator that takes the outline of your skull so that this style of hat can then be properly steamed and blocked so that it will fit properly, and comfortable.

While this isn’t a hat, it’s a find worth its weight in gold. It’s a Kent Brushes 1940’s hat brush! This firm has been in business since 1777, but having checked their website, they sadly no longer make hat brushes. This brush is invaluable in helping keep my Coke looking ship shape and Bristol fashion.

This is my Lock & Co. Straw Boater that is wonderfully comfortable on those balmy steamy summer days. Seersucker is suggested, but optional.

One could say having a Donegal Deerstalker in one’s inventory is elementary.

Lastly this 1970’s Donegal Trilby is also a fun one to own. In my book, it’s hard to go wrong with most anything tweed.

Thank you all, I'm a bit better now. The bronchodilator is doing it's work and there is still alot to come out until the lungs are more clean.

Today a flying saucer landed on my head.

Dear Sir,

It's funny, I can see them on my MacbookPro, however I cannot see them on my iPhone either! I'm as dumbfounded as you!
