And an even more 'vanilla' 2nd pattern CWU 8/P in Medium and 1973.....with the model 'B' velcro hood set up I mentioned in an earlier post...

Nevertheless would be great to see what you have... the fact that it was issued to you gives it a nice bit of provenance...I was too young and stupid to think about keeping the first combat jacket that was ever issued to me!

Great lookin stuff. Never seen in internal pocket on the lining of the M-1948 before. How do you find them all in such mint condition?

I own 4 or so M-51's from my 'mod' days, not that I had a scooter. Do love them though. It's difficult to find a good size one for a small guy though, I'm 5ft7 so some of the 'smalls' swamp me.

I am on the market for a B-9 or B-11 parka ideally with alpaca lining in a 36 though if anyone has ones.

Ok - so another - nothing too special other than the fact that I have a soft spot for N-2B parkas even though they drive me nuts with the short waist...

So this one is a fairly 'vanilla' 1981 issue except that someone has replaced the synthetic hood fur with genuine wolf fur from an earlier parka hood. Not that I am complaining....;-)

I do like those late N-2Bs, I've a light weight lined '93 & it gets a lot of wear. Yours looks great with the wolf trim, I had a M-65 Parka re-trimmed in wolf & it turned out great.

I had an M-51 in my 'Mod' days (still have two scooters) & unfortunately painted 'King Kurt' on the back and then used it whilst doing oil changes (think it probably fell apart at some stage).
Currently own a nice M-65 with wolf trim for walking the dogs :)
