The jacket in question is the J-21 with chrome tanned, and veg retan horsehide. It includes an original Prentice main zip, original Talon chain zips for all of the pockets, including the left side map pocket.

This is one of the earlier, 1948 styles that Buco did.

Construction is standard for the period, including tex 16 black thread and ligne 24 nickel snaps throughout.

The lining is a 22 oz all wool buffalo plaid in black and red as per originals.

Separate belt is a veg tanned cowhide in 9 oz weight, with a solid brass buckle plated in nickel.

These photographs were taken today, the jacket is brand new and need to be worn, some of the best leather I have ever seen. Any questions please ask.

Chest underarms 23" (stretched)
Waist from about belt 20.5" (stretched)
Sleeve 25.5"

Shame this one is still waiting. If I had the cash, and wanted a Buco D-pocket, this is pretty much it. No vtg original can touch this.

Hopefully soon, a guy tried it on the other day. Fit him perfectly he loved it and said, he like really likes the Mccoys offering, but this was out of reach, when I said £800 his mouth dropped. Thought he was going to jump at it there an then.

But the sleeves and body are quite short. But probably that's normal as well on this model.

It is, but if you look at the measurements go by them. Vintage 44, 40-42.

I can't emphasise enough what an amazing jacket this is. Trumps Mccoys my a country mile.

Yeah I know, the jacket is close to fitting. Sleeve & body length are perfect, underarm & waist are slightly too big. Shoulder is much too small.

I know. I'm considering lap band surgery and a smokers diet to make it fit me.....it's just a cracking jacket.
