@Sloan1874 , any insider info you can share on this?

I don't think they've even got it back from the court, yet. From what I'm told, when it came to shipping it to Edinburgh last year, it filled a van top-to-floor, with stuff being packed into the driver's cabin to get all in, so getting it back is not straightforward. I guess the one thing they won't want is to have this amount of stock filling up the store room. So once it's back, I doubt they'll hang around too long in putting it up for sale.

ATM, I'm expecting my AN-J-3 back from Steve S after a few minor niggles were addressed, and today, I'm sending him my GW Perry Sportswear A-2 for 'better fit' alterations.

When the smoke clears from those projects, I am thinking of having Steve S make one of these for me in my size:



It's a nice, basic, design IMO. I may opt for a one-piece back instead of the yolk, add epaulets, and have it lined in standard A-2 style cotton, with one of his 'Experimental Test Sample' AAF labels.

I'm expecting a Johnson Leather flight/bomber jacket to arrive next week, I ordered a stocksize in 3.5oz seal brown finished cowhide.
