Mr.Sommerset; I ask you kindly to take the focus of your conversation off the smaller sized hat sized folks, like me, and positively interact with the market sellers. Attempting to make others feel bad so that you may feel better about not finding your prized hat in your size is not admirable and un-called for.

Good day, small hat sized Eric -

Always a class act...

I've been eyeing one of these for months, but have yet to buy one. Has anybody here invested in one of these doohickys and can you attest to the quality and accuracy of them?

The Made in China part makes me wonder about quality. I've seen hatters use them, but I doubt they are these modern ones.

You just missed this bargain-priced one on Ebay, Frunie.

And the Chinese are into making everything... They even have a made-in-China version of this
mens-brannock.png But I won't buy from a shoe store that doesn't use the USA version. Just me.

I was watching that one, Charlie - I should have played. I'd like one with cm, though.

I can't get my head in there!!

They work ok, but even the vintage American made ones are not super accurate.

Honestly the best way to measure the circumference of a sweatband is to take the measurements with a tailors tape. Measure the "major" axis and "minor" axis and punch those two numbers into this calculator. It will give you the perimeter/circumference of the sweatband.
