Which Brands of Dress Shoes, Old and New, Are Your Top Three?

I love Adlens most. On fit, feel, quality and longivity they always win with me. I have a pair of Hanover L.B.Sheppaards and Florsheim Imperials from the 1980s and both are close behind.
Both of these companies havn't made quality shoes for 25 years or more. Most shoe snobs rate Florsheim Imperails as the best of all times. I've had more AEs that all other shoe brands combined, I feel they are great shoes, but they don't match the three brands above.

What are your three brand picks? Which brands am I missing?

B.A. Mason also has large sizes, wide width and narrow width shoes. Not Alden quality but good valuc for their low price. I have a narrow width and have found more choices in Pre owend on Ebay. To me it looks like it was easier to find extreme widths in the past.

Thanks. I hadn't seen this place before.
Alas, mostly Propet, few other dress shoes, and none of them in any colors other than black and mid-brown in my size.

Grenson, Trickers, Herring, Charles Tyrwhitt (I think mostly made by Herring). SJC looks promising.
Yes you are hitting some nice brands there Edward. The SJC is also some really smart looking shoes and dress boots, and killer engineer boots. Speaking of Herring, on their website they have some killer looking dress boots that are the "Holmes" and "Moriarty" models that for the money are very snazzy boots!
