I had - coincidentally - a slice of pizza from the pizza place that made the pizza pictured in my avatar. Outstanding when it was hot from the box last night and quite good cold from the refrigerator for breakfast this morning.

Actually I made it fresh. I woke up earlier than usual and decided to cook breakfast at home. I had intended to fix pasta carbonara, but changed my mind. Homemade Alfredo is super quick and easy too.

Bacon & American cheese omlettes. Lily's in the middle of a massive growth spurt & is eating like a teenage boy with a hollow leg. I made her a 2 egg omlette, and it took her about 4 minutes to eat it all. Not even a speck of cheese left behind!

Biscuit and gravy, cheese grits, black coffee. Yesterday I had smoked sausage, scrambled eggs with pepper jack cheese, and pancakes topped with fresh strawberries, blueberries, and maple syrup.

A bowl of blueberries and strawberries and some crackers with butter.
It's funny, I read an article this morning that when couples separate, get divorced or one passes away, women's diets don't change, but men eat worse - less fruits and vegetables, etc. I never pro-actively buy fruits - my girlfriend does and she brought me the bowl this morning. While I enjoyed it, I don't know that without her, I'd ever buy them myself. Hence, I'm just a statistic.
