I would be tempted to add 1" on the sleeves. If you post some pics sans cardie and wearing your normal jeans height, then I'll give you an opinion on the length, but it looks not too bad.
Here it is with t-shirt. These are low rise jeans and I wore them as they are what I wore with my HWM fit pics and they became my baseline. Both the HWM and this BR are 25.5" length, which works great for low and normal rise jeans, I feel. The HWM is perfect.

On my order, I'm having the front zip start 1" from the hem as opposed to 3" like on this jacket. That will definitely help cinch everything up and negate the illusion of it being too short.

Your cordovan BR was a big influencer on ordering so soon. I was going to get tumbled cordovan, but the dark seal Vicenza turned out to be the exact color I want.

That's a much better picture. I concur with adding 3/4" to the sleeves and might also add 1/2" to 3/4" to the body too as the BR rendition of the Buco J100 is, I think, designed to be a longer jacket than the HWM. Personally, I would not have the front zip start 1" from the hem but leave it at 3" same as this jacket. I might go with a center, vertical back seam too for a more tailored fit.

I totally hear you guys about the traditional design. I have a short torso and at this length I'm already getting a little bit of a barrel chested bell shape in the side view (which I hate), not the slim tapered look I've seen in others. I don't know what's causing it, but I figured if I made the zipper lower and added the center seam down the back it might counter the back bulge. I considered tapering the waist to 37", but I knew I would be wearing long sleeves and light cardigans, so I left it alone.

Unfortunately the order is sent already and I'm not going to alter anything at this stage. I just have to hope for the best. I'm sure it will exceed expectations...

I do appreciate all the input, though. I was in a rush to make the August production slot, so I didn't have time to solicit you all for input before I finalized.

Will be a really great fit with the added sleeve length. And I think Carrie and Wade were right, there!

Damn guys, it's only been 2 months since I got my Aero A-2, and you make me want another Aero jacket...

looks perfect, hopefully they can make yours EXACTLY like this everywhere else only with slightly longer sleeve...
I know! It's a little nerve-wracking wondering where the variations will appear. If anything I hope it errs on the side of .25" larger than smaller. Fingers crossed...

Of course, a clone of this with my additions would be ideal! I don't want to jinx anything ;)

That's one very cool looking racer! Can only agree with the general opinion that added sleeve length might be in order. Thought it might be a bit too snug when I saw it zipped up but in the unzipped photo it looks just how a racer should look. Very nice!

I wouldn't add a millimeter to the body. It's a longer jacket for the style but it's not a blazer. Longer sleeves and its 100% locked down. Now you can revel in the lovely waiting period...the best and worst part all rolled up into a ball of nerves that culminates in carefully opening a box you've waited for 2 months to arrive at your door. Can't wait to see the finished product, it will be perfect!

Thanks for the kind words and encouragement! I really appreciate everybody's input, but I'm really picky and feel 99% confident in the choices.

Fanch did bring up something that I decided too quickly and regret - I wish I had specified 1.25" inch zipper start from hem. I'm new at this and was trying to imagine it shorter, which seems appealing. Hopefully it will be a little longer than shorter... we shall see! Cheers everyone

I understand the OP's concern regarding the position of the bottom of the zipper in relation to the hem. I think sometimes we agonize over trivial details but will say that the BR/J100 design seems to be with the bottom of the zipper ending ~3" from the bottom. Ideally the zipper would end at the belt line, unlike the Cafe Racer that ends more or less at the bottom of the jacket. I have the perception that BR flares a bit at the bottom, also unlike the CR? In any case, below are a couple of pictures of @Sloan1874 and @pawineguy showing some variation but both fantastic fits IMO. I feel certain that the OP's BR will also fit equally well.

Every single one looks fantastic!

@Fanch, it's true in the end these are trivial details, but they sure dominate a mind when you have to make a damned decision! :(

It will be fun to see how it all comes together...

I think the jacket looks great. For a riding jacket, that's exactly where I like the sleeves to fall. With a pair of Vanson "Rocket" gauntlet gloves, no need for longer sleeves. Though if riding with short gloves, I could see where the added sleeve length would be beneficial.

If it were mine, I'd keep it the way it is. o_O:p But that's my personal preference.

Where my sleeves fall on my Vanson PLU-3:
