It was hard for me to wait, too. By the time my 4-year-old was born, I had about 6 tiny, vintage hats waiting for him, including two mint condition Stratoliners. It took a while, but he eventually quit throwing, bending, and scrunching them. These days, if he's in the bright desert sun, he immediately asks for his hat. Two-year-old likes to copy his brother, so they're both coming along now. Older one asks all the time if he gets all my hats when he's a "big boy."

Regarding parenthood, yes sir, I believe it is. Even when you wait until you're approaching "old fart" age like I did. Seems weird to be jealous of a toddler's hat collection, but that Cavanagh milan in the photo is a killer, as is his Lee "Warren." Anthony, I posted an ad here asking for small sized vintage, and fellow Loungers came through big time. Hats are MUCH cheaper in the 6 1/2 to 6 3/4 size range.

Maybe , but having a baseball head on a basketball size body would look really weird . But ... having a basketball head on a baseball size body looks weird , too . Sad that cranial capacity doesn't always relate to $$$$$$$$ earning ability , but the noggin covers cost more anyway . Its the law of supply and demand . And people's heads are bigger (as we know) these days .
Thanks, Bob. The shirt is sort of a hybrid of my favorite styles. It's a Rockmount in a westen aloha theme with snap buttons. The dogs always photo bombing me.
Thanks, Harv. I've got an affinity for the OR style hats. One of these days I hope to find a vintage Stetson in my size I can afford. I picked up this one somewhere other that the bay for around $50.

Thanks for all the comments and likes for my conversion yesterday.Definitly not poison ivy,but I'm with bowlerman plants worry me.I got the tree off the fence no problem.It was the not my tree but I cleaned it up myself.
