Just got myself two new jackets to add to my Aero Leathers jackets collection. First off a Bronco A2 in Russet. I had this jacket made for me and requested extra length to the body and arms (I'm 6'5"). Although they cut the jacket shorter than I requested I quite like it.

The other one is one of their B-10 Flight Jackets. I found it on eBay. It's a size 42 but it is quite snug (maybe too snug) and fits more like a size 40. Despite this I'm keeping it because I like snug fitting jackets and Aero B-10's are hard to come by. All it needs now is a squadron patch.

A2 looks spot on, B10 looks a little slim, but looks good. How's it feel to move in?

I wish I'd gone after the Waterfront and B15 jackets, does anyone know how the current Pike Brother's offering they have is, because the PB one didn't seem to be rated that well on here a while back?

The A-2 fit is spot on! The B-10 sure looks a bit on the slim side, but nothing bad, I really like it.

@Tommy-VF51 , you could check directly through PB website, they still have them available in almost all sizes, I think. I'm also looking at it, to be honnest...

Thanks for the kind words guys! I have a PB B-10 as well. It is an awesome jacket. Really warm and well made but not as accurate as lets say a Buzz Rickson. But be sure to buy one one size smaller than your actual size. Mine is a Medium but it fits like a Large.

@Royalcrown32 , as we're about the same size, what the body length/sleeve length/shoulder width on your Aero A-2? I'm asking because I'm kind of surprised the PB B-10 in M suits you in the arms/body!

@Cocker. From the top of my head. The shoulder width of the Bronco is 18.5", the body length is 25.5" and the arms are 26" long. The PB B-10 is a massive jacket. The only jacket I have in a Medium size and it fits me perfectly. I would drown in a Large..

When I was at Aero in 2014, they had half a dozen Waterfronts hanging. I still have mine (though I wish I'd gone up one size for more layering options - I'd consider one day a second one with a mouton collar and a shearling lining....). I gather they're still between wool providers? Hopefully they get that sorted - it's an outstanding jacket.

I've handled the PB B15. It's a B15A spec,. I believe (two triangular oxygen mask tabs). I think Ken's description of them as perhaps a bit "over-engineered" compared to a more accurate repro is reasonably fair, though all things consdiered, including price, I think they're the best value non-nylon B15 out there. To wear in a civilian context, I wouldn't feel the need of anything more accurate. The quality of them as a garment is, imo, very good indeed.

Do you know if the Aero PB B15 is as green as it looks, when I've seen it elsewhere it's a olive colour?

Hi guys,
I’m not sure if anyone will see this since it looks like a dead thread, but here it goes anyhow. Any advice on the aero a2 bronco in regards to fit? Is it a slimmer/military cut or a bit looser? Also, does aero make their jackets longer than most? I found an aero bronco a2 size 42L and it’s almost 29” back length which seems like a lot but I’m 6’4” so it might be perfect.

I own a Bronco in size 40 and it is a very trim fit with 21" ptp. Backlength is 25.5" which I believe is not longer than most, my A2s by other makes have pretty much the same body length. I recommend going true to size for a trim fit and one size up for a more civilian relaxed fit. Don't size down.

Still that back length kinda worries me. I had an Eastman m422a 42L and it was only like 27” length which was a pretty traditional look. 29” might work better with modern jeans and pants which are worn lower on the waist, but might look sloppy. Thoughts? Keep in mind in 6’4”
