I look forward to a grey beard ... being completely serious
Give it time; you'll get there.

Careful what you wish for Anthony. When my beard went grey, I lost control of it completely. Those grey hairs just don't lay down like my dark whiskers did. I went from having a well-groomed beard to having a wire-haired terrier on my chin. It even got curly. Still got it, but it requires a lot more maintenance.
Amen.

I'm 42 ... and I have probably 4 greys in my beard ... looking forward to many more

Rumor has it that around these parts (probably similar in your area) a good mall Santa with a real white beard pulls in around 40 grand during the holidays...

Quoted for truth. Also, once your beard gets gray enough you'll start getting unsolicited advice along the lines of, "You know, if you dyed your beard you'd look 10 years younger." A close friend of ours dislikes gray hair so much that she sincerely believes everyone with gray hair should dye it.

My whiskers went white long before grey even started on the hair of my head. When my head is grey, I'll stop dying the whiskers. I guess then I'll embrace the curmudgeon and my old man moniker.

It doesn't fool anybody. I'd cut it off before I'd resort to that. Just sayin...

If I still let my hair grow, what little of it there is would be mostly gray. Someone once gave me a bottle of Grecian formula for my birthday to use on my goat, I guess they thought it was funny. I laughed but a return to Walgreens the next day paid for a 12 pack.

Women can get away with dying their hair, up to a certain age. Men who dye their hair just look like fools.
