Hey guys, just thought i'd share an event I was invited to attend last weekend on the NSW mid coast. Organised to emulate vintage pre/early post war style hot rodding where hot rodders raced their gow jobs and cut down roadsters, the Drag Ens Hot Rod club out of Sydney did an awesome job for its inaugural event. Beach racing was conducted on this same beach in the 30's so this is what they tried to bring back - a fantastic job done by all involved.

The event was'nt timed and the theme of the day was to simply participate and enjoy the vintage vibe of which it had in spades.

We have had The Race Of Gentlemen in New Jersey for quite a few years now. It has now spread to California. I am over a 1,000 miles form the nearest ocean, not to fear, we have Monte Vista, Colorado, with their abandoned dirt air strip. Sounds like it is just getting bigger and bigger.
