Thanks Harv!

That vintage strat you had yesterday was way fine, too.

Before I moved here, I lived in the heart of the city. The first night a train horn woke me up about 2:00 a.m. My first thought was 'Oh $#!+'. My second thought was 'Hey, its not a gunshot, police siren, car alarm going off, the neighbors fighting or playing their music so loud the bass rattles the windows'. The train horn was over in a few seconds, I went back to sleep, and they've never bothered me since.

I can hear a train in the distance about 3/4 mile from the back of my house. Something about that sound at night lulls me to sleep.

On and off showers with a morning temp of around 60'F here in Minnesota. Wearing a vtg. Lee Comentator. This green hat I have had for many years. It needs to get worn more often. Lee, at the time of this hat, put factory creases in their line of hats. I bump this hat and it pops right back to the factory crease. Lovely green felt.

Thanks, Cuz.
Just watching it roll by. My house is about two blocks from here. It's a good spot to enjoy a summer evening with some of the crew.

Perfect choice for a day on the farm.

Beeyootiful morning in Funky town! Cool and sunny. Great morning to be alive and wearing a fedora!

I'm going with this late 50s/early 60s 3X OR on my way in to work today.

You are a felt inspiration through the summer Jim. With all the straw floating around I can always count on you and Eric to keep the faith!

Looking good Perry!

My father worked for the Southern Pacific, I guess I have railroads in my blood somewhere. We hear the main line from about the same distance. Always know when the Amtrack Cascades comes though, a special tone to the horn chimes.

The pre-set factory blocking on this Lee is just right, and that ribbon! Priceless. Such a classic look.

I agree, that hat does need to be worn more often! The crease looks nice like it is from where I'm sitting.

Love that liner picture! I like a nice liner - no one gets to see it when you're wearing the hat, but it just feels good knowing it's there. Same with clothes that have beautiful linings.

I'm still deciding myself on hats. Looks like MrsFed and I need to drive back to the Dentist's office to have him look over her surgery from a week ago... everything has to be right before the trip to S.A.

I'm thinking I'll take the new-to-me Portis for the road trip! Pics from yesterday:
A big thanks to @moontheloon for shipping this OR lookin' lid to OR (Oregon)!
