man thats some crappy news.....was down there last Thursday and I was very impressed with the shop set-up they have going. Not sure how they will dispose of 100+ jackets........I will be sure to keep my eyes peeled.
Fingers crossed the cops can catch 'em and return the stock......but of course that would result in yet another court case!

Everyone should have their eyes on Ebay, Etsy, common second hand websites and Instagram or facebook posts. I don't know what the hell are those thiefs thinking stealing from Aero. They won't be able to resell them without getting caught, specially the vintage ones.

I'm going to share it on the FB vintage leather group so everyone has their eyes wide open.

My best wishes to the Aero workers and family in resolving this situation.

It sounds silly at first, but considering how widespread and passionate this group is, giving people like us information such as the jackets that are missing could actually help.

That is terrible, though. Aero deserves better luck than they have been experiencing.

damn, this is shocking. For the guys at Aero: please let us know about the jackets, publish a list with the jackets, colour, sizes etc. We'll do our best to trace down the spineless.

With this sort of stock, it is likely going to be difficult work indeed to fence it. Hopefully the fact that this appears not to have occurred to the culprits means they'll soon be tracked down and the jackets recovered. Sad to see Ken and Lydia and the family have to go through this again after all the stress of the previous theft.

Heh, I guess someone really knew what they were after. I don't think that the regular opportunistic burglars would've ever bothered with a hundred something jackets made by a, relatively speaking, obscure brand, that could only be sold to a very niche market.

I don't see how anyone would sell these jackets without us finding out. Create a new ebay account for every jacket or what?

The only way to make money out of this is to sell the jackets and in such a small world of leather jacket aficionados I don't have a clue about how are they going to do it. I mean, everyone knows Aero and news will spread. Anyone having a suspicious amount of leather jackets for sale or too many popping up for sale will bring attention. What worries me a lot too is the vintage leather jackets that can't be replaced. I certainly hope they didn't steal any patterns, not again.

Also most of the jackets will be brand new. You can't just start selling Aero jackets in mint condition without raising suspicions.

also makes you wonder how hard it would be to offload what they stole. Pretty sure mostly everyone who's in this market is going to know about the break in and be on the look out. Maybe they will wait a few months or even years to slowly sell it off. So be prepared to keep an eye out for a long time.
