I noticed the same thing with the Self Edge jackets. The brown was dull. I've seen much better leather on the ones he sells himself.
I have to agree. Even with the few I've seen posted here. I liked the Canuck the most actually...the cross zip is not for my build. But the leather was so unremarkable...I wonder if that's by design. I believe all three were priced under the $2.3K mark. Still. I just can't like anything more than this heavy ba***rd. I think with some real wear these sleeves are going to go all kinds of
Michelin man.

This jacket doesn't cease to amaze me. This time with the reddish undertones. I really want to see this after some years of heavy wear. It won't fade as fast as the DD though but we'll get there...
Enjoy the jacket weather everyone!

The jacket is looking good A-1 and you are looking like a happy camper. Hope you continue to enjoy your bonding experience. ha ha. Still a couple of days before morning and evening jacket weather returns here.

I've had a few colder days here and mornings are still fresh. It seems to be over for now but... The good stuff is not far off and I'm ready!

We had a few cool mornings last week, but then back to heat and humidity. Today turned out to be surprisingly nice, so I wore a half jacket on my bike ride. That is, a fishing vest

Mostly for the pen pocket to hold my vape pen. Ha ha. Supposed to get down to 54 tonight, so morning coffee in the yard will be solid jacket territory.

I'm logging lots of hours in the Lost Worlds G-1; today at work was 15 hours of violent thunderstorms. Saw the Empire State Building get hit by lightning 3 times! But an absolutely gorgeous sunset made it all worthwhile:)

You wear it well.

Still waiting for France to cool down enough to FINALLY wear my HH G8. Every time I open the closet, there it is... oh-ho... there it is! I put it on in front of the mirror for a few minutes from time to time until I start to sweat. Then back into the closet it goes.
