WESTERN SHIRTS

I love this kind of shirts since when i was a child in the early '90s....in those days western\country style was so popular here in Italy so i had my first western shirt. It was a wonderful Levi's shirt in denim with some details in plaid cloth, it had the pearl snap buttons and sawtooth pockets. And then i saw this kind of shirts on Dukes Of Hazzard and some other american tv series and movies.
I still love western shirts and the ones made by Levi's are still my favourites. Are well made and size S fits me perfectly, specially the slim fit models.
I'd like to buy one by Rockmount brand, their shirts look amazing and are made in the USA as an american brand products should.
I like the denim ones and the ones in solid colors, but my favourites are the plaid ones.
Those shirts are absolutely my favourites, i really love the pearl snap buttons and the typical stitching.....a lot of charm, nothing to do with the classic boring shirts that we have here in Italy.
Are there some other western shirts wearers here? It would be nice to talk about favourite brands, styles ecc.....
I hope it's the right forum section to post this kind of thread....if i did a mistake, sorry in advance.

There are quite a few brands that make great Western shirts. Iron Heart do a great job as does The Flat Head.

Those are probably the two most well known brands for Western shirts in Japan, but others such as Samurai, Full Count, PBJ, Studio D'Artisan, etc all make them very well as do many other brands that I haven't mentioned.

Outside of Japan, I have seen some nice stuff from Freenote Cloth, Indigofera, Rogue Territory, etc. Again, there are more options than just what I have listed.

I don't own too many myself, but I wish I owned more. I love the aesthetic as well as the convenience of snap buttons.

I am a big fan of western style shirts. Been wearing them for years. My favorites are probably the Pendleton High Grade Western wear shirts and RRL for the higher end shirts I have and I have one Filson, though most were picked up off the bay at a great price reduction. My go to denim shirts are Wranglers.

I'm not currently wearing these as much as I did but my favorites are Native American prints. Wrangler put out the best series along this line. I also have some under the Brooks & Dunn name & Roper among others. The shirts in the pictures are wrinkled because I normally don't iron them until I wear them. And there are just a few of what I have, both in short & long sleeve.

Wcbrown : you rock!!;)

Hurrican Jack : differently from you i also like hawaiian shirts. I've got only few hawaiian shirts but are nice to wear in hot summer days. The only thing that remains the same are cowboy boots, i don't care what shirt i wear, i always wear boots. Just when i want to do some spirited drive i wear sneakers (doing heel-toe or so with cowboy boots it's not the best...:))

I like this kind of shirt, but in simple, plain patterns mostly.
Anyone here with experience with Rockmount shirts? Seem to be of good quality.

I have a Rockmount that I bought in the store in Denver. Great shirts, but they run big. Size down. I usually wear a medium, but I swim in the small Rockmount.

I have a closet full of western shirts; mostly solids, simple plaids and denims from Wrangler, RRL, Pendleton and a few assorted others. I really like the Rockmount shirts and others with unusual patterns and embroidery. I've just never found myself comfortable wearing them but I sure like seeing others in them. A black one with white piping on the yoke and pockets with embroidered roses above sawtooth pockets is still on my mind.

simply Great shirts
Here are two of my embroidered H bar C shirts. Both are from the seventies. The model of the red one is "Coronado", and the tan one is the "Nevada". These are not shirts that I wear often, but they're great for a Dwight Yoakum concert, or the western movie festival. I have a weakness for the American made vintage western shirts, particularly embroidered ones.
