72 Monte Carlo? Cool! V-8, 4 barrel carb?. I remember that was just before the 73 oil embargo and we ran out of gas. Lines everywhere for blocks long with people pushing their cars up up to the pump. I went out and bought a locking gas cap for my 65 Buick Special.

Oh, yea I forgot, really nice jacket too. :)

Thanks Jonesy!
Yes, it has a 350 V8 and they replaced the 4 barrel carb with throttle body fuel injection. It's the first vintage car I've ever owned and I love it!

View attachment 91158 View attachment 91157 Today it was breezy and mild so it was a perfect day for my Willis & Geiger horsehide A-2. I love the fit and the overall quality of this 1980's jacket. My friend's old Ford pick-up truck made a good backdrop for the photo:cool:
Thor,
Nice jacket and nice truck!
I'm getting used to seeing you in A-2's every now and then, that W&G looks great.

Frosty cold this morning on my way to pick up the kiddo from the Girl Scout lock in. A sugar fueled overnight affair that saw her come home a tragically tired wreck. Sported the $20 JC Penny Mackinaw for the first time. It's very warm and incredibly itchy. Won't wear it w/out a long sleeve layer again. Would love something like this in blue or green Buffalo check. Note the relaxed hand gesture.

Looks great. You like the pattern and color would match my Woolrich hunting pants. That was a great find.

Just scored this awesome 40s horsehide. Half belt from Terry Mitchell. I f@%$*n love it! These older horsehide coats are a much lighter hide than the modern horween I'm used to. Thanks Terry, hopefully this is just the first of many! View attachment 91262 View attachment 91262 View attachment 91263
Terry is a gem of a guy, especially now that he is 65 he is kinda vintage too:)
He got you a great coat! You are looking good in the real thing.
Now terry just hast to find coats with long sleeves. People had shorter arms back then.
Realy nice coat.

Perfect fit on the Corsair! The other jacket too but Corsair being my fav, I'm biased.

+1 as I've always been partial to LL Corsair/Dominator jackets too, and the fit looks spot on. The only negative I have is LL's refusal to eliminate the LL patch on the left chest that IMO adversely affects what would otherwise be a clean look, but wonderful acquisition in any case. Well done!

It's a 1972 Chevy Monte Carlo, completely restored. It's a good thing I went crazy buying jackets the last couple years, because now I have a nice collection of coats to wear when I go cruising!

Yeahhhhhhhh... that's what I'm talkin about. Sweet ride there amigo! I'd kill for something like that over here. A little American heavy metal on Frenchy's back roads stalking the rice-burners. LOL!
