Bill Kelso house A2 Jacket? does it age well?

Hi guys, Im looking to buy Bill Kelso's house A2 '29971'
It is a budget A2 but looks the part
Apart from a second hand Eastman (hard to find my perfect one) the Bill Kelso looks a perfect choice for money.

It is made from their Mark 31 horsehide, which I am unsure if it is veg tanned but Id like to know if anyone has any experience with it and how it ages. I would love a high end A2 but cant really afford/justify it

i didn't in the end. I bought an Eastman in the end. Bill Kelso a2s look good though

I have one. It was purchased in 2011, is that old enough?. It is still like new.
The colour is russet brown and hasn't faded or developed any kind of patina yet. I wear it almost daily during autumn and part of the spring. The sleeve seam a little bit used at the elbow, some creases and wrinkles, the grain has come out at some places more than at others, that is all the age signs I can see.
I had the lining replaced after three years because the original cotton one soon got ripped under the creased leather areas, such as armpits, elbows and waist.
I'll take some pictures and post them. You can do a search under "Bill Kelso A2" right here at the lounge and find my old posts when I got it.

That does look a nice jacket. As you say quite little wear considering how much you've worn it, I guess that's to do with the type of leather tanning they use on that model.

Yes, probably, but I can't tell what tanning was used.
