Hi everyone !
For four years I've been studying and saving for this jacket , ELMC Roadstar in American walnut color . Holy shit it is incredible from the high quality craftsmanship,Huge belt , zippers , Italian horsehide ! I can't thank Charlie from History Preservation enough ! I never had a jacket this high quality before I'm chest 38 and Charlie recommended size 40 and he was correct ! Thank you so much .
Steven
Thank You T.Mitchell. You are kinda the reason I had to get this jacket. When I saw your youtube fit video on the Californian model, I said holy shit that colour and leather are quality. !!!! I am the guy who bought your Brooks tan colored Trucker jacket. That I am keeping as a Souvenir.

Nice, high armholes and slim sleeves. Great jacket!
Thanks Pal for sharing in my happiness. I love everything about the jacket. We are getting a blast of 17 degrees in Pennsylvania tomorrow so It should be perfect for that cold snap ! Just worried moths will eat the lining.

Perfect in every possible way.

I said this before but I've seriously have never seen an Eastman that's been anything less than perfect. And even though it's not 100% accurate, this is my favorite take on the Buco on the market.

Thank you so much for sharing in my happiness. I hope it lasts a life time. They gave me a plastic garment bag. I assume that is only for traveling bc the leather needs to breathe?

Perfect Steven!! I really love this one too!! So many great ones to choose from and I think you made an awesome, perfect choice. Your smile indeed does say it all!! Nice early treat for yourself there....

Yes indeed, I reccommend not to keep it in the plastic bag. It does need to breathe... :)

Thanks soooo much bud for sharing in my happiness! The quality, thickness and tanning of the leather is incredible. Hopefully I can get the black one day too. I love the Californian style but I already have a Schott in that style. Do you think I should remove the skull keychain on the main zipper or keep it on? It's kinda bad ass. The skull imprint on the belt is cool too.

Thank you so much pal for sharing in my happiness. Always wanted a big black moto Guzi . Now I need to find one that matches this American Walnut jacket

Very nice. I have one of the really early ELC (no M) version of this (quilt nylon liner, pillion pockets.... a couple of differences from this version). Must sell it because it's just too neat for me on the waist, but very cool jacket. Eastman did well on giving these the 'feel' of the orginals.

Thank you for your valued patronage, Steven, and for sharing the pics and details here. It was really nice to have the chance to speak with you, and it was my pleasure to assist in getting the fit right for you. And you made my job so much easier because of the great details you provided.

Regarding our HPA garment bags that come with each jacket purchase, you can indeed store the jacket in the bag because the bag is open/vented at the top, thus allowing free flow of air. I use these bags for every jacket and suit and blazer I own, but please don't do anything that doesn't feel right to YOU.

If you need anything at all, please let me know. Please wear it safely and in fine health!

I had the older version, too, from back about 1994, and custom made in brown w/ out epaulets. There were some made with diamond-quilted linings in bottle green, but red was typical. I recall also having some made with Luftwaffe moleskin linings in blue for customers.

I have to say that the batch of hides Steven's was made from is really about the best I've seen come through, and that's saying a lot since ELC/ELMC started using this Italian veg-tanned horsehide.

Thanks pal for sharing in my happiness. I've worn it all weekend. I love this jacket to death. For being very fitted it does have great range of motion. I am happy I got it b/c if I were the maker of this jacket, I would have tripled the price. Worth every penny.

What a great looking jacket. Congratulations and wear it in good health!
Thanks bud for sharing in my happiness. I've worn it all weekend. I love this jacket to death. For being very fitted and thick heavy horsehide , it does have great range of motion and broken in feel. I am extremely happy I got it b/c if I were the maker of this jacket, I would have tripled the price. Worth every penny. Thank you.

Thank you Charles soooooo much. This jacket has brought me sooo much happiness. You have a customer for life. I hope everyone buys this jacket from you and experiences this kind of happiness. Vegetable tanned Italian horsehide is my favorite skin. Only question. Do I leave the key chain on the main zipper?
