Wolfed a beef sub out of the frig last nite, and an Otis Spunkmeyer banana nut muffin with diet Pepsi.
Then enjoyed several fingers of an office Christmas gift, Wild Turkey 101, an aged bourbon with a high rye content spiced with toffee and caramel.
A bit of a bite and burn across the tongue but a smooth sipper. The perfect libation for listening to The Score 67*am and the Bulls rolling a seventh win.

Super Girlfriend and her dad teamed up to cook Turkey, stuffing, mash potatoes, green beans and cranberry sauce for a wonderful Christmas day diner. For me, the best part was just seeing and hearing her and her dad working together in the kitchen in the morning and afternoon. They have a great relationship and it was fun to watch them spend a good chunk of the day preparing the meal - they are already talking about their next "joint" venture meal.

I enjoy that kind of relationship as well. It is fantastic to see that in person.
Hope y'all had a nice Christmas. Im sure SGF baked some Christmas goodies to keep your sweet tooth at bay.

Thank you - we had a great time and just got back home this morning (Sinclair Dino pic on tree coming soon). It's fun to see her dad and her interact in the kitchen - rib each other, banter, etc., all in good fun - and they really enjoyed doing it.

And, yes, plenty of Christmas goodies by both SGF and her mom. As I catch up (I'm trying to do some real pay-the-bills work today as well), I'll be discussing a "Bumpy" cake - some crazy delicious Michigan thing I just learned about.
