Custom, hand made in the USA BuCo replica leather jacket.

Constructed from Genuine Tanned Front Quarter 1.2-1.4mm (3-3.5 oz) Heavy Horsehide.
Full removable leather belt.
Removable full sleeve Thinsulate zip out liner with knitted cuffs.
Reinforced kidney panel.
Bi-swing back.
Vented underarm gussets.
Silver YYK heavy-duty hardware.
Poly Twill shell.
Perma Core thread for strong stitching.

Lifetime guarantee.

Size 48 (L/XL). VERY Heavy (8 pounds on digital bathroom scale). Originally coast $800 for custom build. Aero/Vanson/Lost Worlds level of quality. Only worn on a handful of occasions. Never exposed to elements. New condition.

As an owner of a Hillside USA full custom jacket, along with numerous Aero, Vanon, Langlitz, Cal Leather, and a Lost Worlds, I'd say I'd have to see this particular Hillside in person before I judged it.

Recent Hillside jackets have turned up with leather of a cheaper quality than what they were using a few years ago, and my custom Hillside jacket, made in 2014, was made with some very nice naked cowhided, but I wouldn't say that in general an off the rack Hillside is quite up to the level of Aero or Vanson, but they are very nice.

And this one does look nice, every bit as good as my own custom Hillside jacket. $800 is a good bit more than one of Hillside's standard pricing, which tops out around $550 for their D-pocket jackets in HH. I paid $550 USD in 2014 for mine, which was essentially a hybrid of their standard and full-belted motorcycle jackets, with a 3rd inside pocket. But as this is a one-off J24 replica and NOT one of their standard patterns that they could have modified easily, it might well be that they would have charged $800, and used materials that measure up with Aero, Vanson, etc.

I'd definitely be interested in this one if it were my size, but thankfully for my bank account, it's not.

Sure, 6 2 and 170 lbs. The shoulder measurement is 21.5. Such a beautiful jacket! solid and heavy like you're wearing armor.

I think spell check is at work changing "arm" to "aim".....The sleeve length is stated as 27" in the opening post
