For work tonight it’s a 50s Borsalino. The brim stitching is awesome on this hat.

I'm hoping the journey passes off without any hat chasing.

The Marathon Man. Great overall look today Michael. The finish on that lid is super.

You both look stupendous today!
From one great Hommie person, praise indeed.

Wow, where did all that crown come from? Looks really great Justin.

Went into town this morning, wearing a Resistol "County Sheriff". I stopped at the train station for a few photos. I hope everyone has a fun weekend!

Very nice. I like the hat band.

Hey all!

I do like the lines on these Hückels, the color is sweet. Yay!

Wow Greg, that hat gets me going everytime I see it. Love that look of the wider ribbon with the western lines.

Echter Mayser special model made for Hut Seidl München, probably early 1950s maybe late 1940s and a recent arrival.

That black is blacker than a black hole Steve. Pretty darn impressive!

For work tonight it’s a 50s Borsalino. The brim stitching is awesome on this hat.

Michael, the Dobbs is a nice hat but is one of only a few really nice ones I have. You seem to have an almost endless supply of super hats.
I'm pretty sure your collection has outpaced mine Richard. Or soon will because I am on a buying hiatus.

The Marathon Man. Great overall look today Michael. The finish on that lid is super.
Thanks Red. Your hommie choice today was exemplary.

Michael

I have been spending more time now that I'm older:rolleyes:

I really like the shape of that brim! Country/Western without being obnoxious about it. Do you do tutorials? :D
Thanks Zombie. Usually I just let the hat tell me what it wantso_O

Houssitting my friends’ Kazakhi yurt.

It’s been bloody hot here in Melbourne the last few days: 40+ degrees Celsius (104 F) has driven us to our bare necessities but you couldn’t pry this hat off my had!

Cooler today but I’m still in swim trunks.

*1950s 3X Stetson with genuine Asiatic yurt (some assembly required)

Cheers,
Nathan

View attachment 103204 View attachment 103203 Wife wants to know why I'm in the kitchen steaming up the place and feeding the dog her pot roast? I explained to her that my hat needs some height in the crown and as far as the dog goes......she looked hungry.:D
I can't decide if I want the crown higher or not?? Not totally happy with bash yet and not sure why:mad:

It’s got a very Aussie feel to it with the crown so low.

IMO it doesn’t look bad at all, but maybe you want to bring it up a bit and try it that way?
