Received my Cockpit catalogue a few weeks ago and came across this item. Not truly historic in the (insert controversy starting repo maker here) sense, but I like that it's a style that doesn't get much representation in jacket land.

Was actually a little surprised that no one had brought it up yet.

Whatchu' guy's think.

Not bad at all: collar knit looks a bit shallow and the cloth is wrong, but it has the feel of a 37J1/37J1B.

I've got on in my Cockpit cart, too. I just wish Cockpit would not use those patterned, embroidered linings.

That is a very cool jacket but I think I like their Bedford cord A-1 USN jacket just a little bit more.

The only thing I don’t like is that camouflage lining; otherwise I would’ve ordered one already! :rolleyes:
