I think Daniel is the toughest man I have ever met (although we have only met through your stories). I'm praying that he will bounce back from this yet again and your strength (you are the strongest person I know) and love will go a long way to assure that happens.

Hello my friend! I've been fairly busy just keeping up with everything.

Daniel is doing as well as expected with all that he is dealing with medically. We had a very close friend pass away two weeks ago and I was able to help Daniel walk into the funeral home and up to the podium to address the crowd of family and friends that all knew each other. As hard as the emotionalism of that was, Daniel commented he thought the very next funeral he would be attending would be his own. Our friend was a member of a band for many years and that band played a few tunes before anyone got up to speak, Daniel commented "I bet his foot was tappiing to the beat of the music"...so his sense of humor ios still there. Daniel just has no energy left to do anything and rarely smiles or talks much.

I've just keep going like nothing is different in hopes that I would not do anything that may be taken as a negative feeling, as being positive in all hopes that he will heal more is our goal. It is hard on me, I have had to do things around here that normally Daniel would do, you know fix leaky shingles, change out the dip tube in our hot water heater and service the duct changer in our furnace and install a new filter, and then change out the programmable thermostat, put a new spark plug in our rider mower and toss in a new battery on our car, fix the older type of valve stem seals and valve seats in the laundry room facet fixtures. Never ending list of things that have to be worked on. I've been lucky however as being married to Daniel and having watched him repair or install so many things over the years has helped me know how and what to do.

Last visit to the hospital, Daniel's doctors just tell me let's hope he will continue healing as that is about all they can tell at this time. That is also my prayer.

I will never be able to thank everyone here enough for all the support and prayers.

Thank you dearly Alan. Daniel and I have always appreciated how much a real gentlemen you have been over the years and of course valued you as a friend/member of the Family here as well.

Naturally I have to thank everyone as well, we have such a wonderful "gang" here on the Lounge, and we love you all.
