old Chinatown SF around 1960 meat market window

some photos showing a boy walking past a market around 1960 with roast ducks and chickens in the window, notice the price for a Roast duck is only $3.25 each, and by the looks they dont look as big and meaty as the current color photo showing the same thing today in a chinese market, the price for a Roast Duck today is around $18 - $20 each

the chicken on the lower left in the old b& w photo looks like it's priced at around $1.68 each

I like the cat in the doorway watching the world go by . $3.25 58 years ago would have been quite a bit for a duck I would think.
