It is a RW A-2 with a replaced zip. It originally started life in 1942 as 27752 RW.

That's impressive.
What gives it away? I'm guessing that it's the scalloped pocket flaps, but is that all?
Or is there some other tell-tale sign? Shoulder seams? Epaulette placement? Collar shape?

Pocket shape, collar stand, shape of collar and RW style of Epaulets with the usual concave when viewed from the front.

Dear Andrew, you owner some original A-2 for comparison . Is it really that this contract Rough Wear W535 AC - 27752 has more roomy torso - how this is written and spoken on the web?

I have owned all the RW A-2 contracts and the tagged size of the jackets varied. This last contract is certainly roomy in the chest compared to some others, such as the previous RW contract.
