One Langlitz Columbia Jacket--Cossack Collar. Approximate size 44-46, as you know Langlitz custom makes each jacket to the customer--no sizing.

This jacket was made for Don Dauterman on January 31, 1984. I purchased it from him last September or October. It is about 1 1/2" long for me in the torso and I have since had Langlitz make a jacket for me--I am lucky enough to live about 30 minutes from them.

Here are the dimensions:
Pit to pit: 24 3/4"
Sleeve: 26"
Shoulder at narrowest point: 20"
Front from base of collar to bottom: 22"
Back from base of collar to bottom: 27" (remember, this is a true motorcycle jacket with a longer back for protection)
Check at narrowest pint between sleeve holes: 18"

For reference, I am 5'8" and weigh 175 pounds (yeah, I could stand to lose 20-25 pounds). I have a 42-43" chest, wear a 15 1/2' x 33" dress shirt and have a 34" waist.

The jacket is about 1 1/2" long for me in the front and back, and fits with a some looseness with a t-shirt and a little loose with a medium weight sweatshirt. I would thaink that the person for this jacket would something like 5' 11" to say 6' 3" with a 42-43" chest.

The jacket itself in in good to very good shape. There are no funny odors--it just smells like leather, all zippers work perfectly, there are no rips or holes in the liner. It is a standard jacket so it has the leather lined gun pocket, the stash pocket under the left armpit, etc. The jacket weighs 6.8 pounds.

$450 shipped to your door. Let me know if you have any questions!

Stash pocket--not a tear or separation of the lining:

Greetings Juanito:
Bitchin jacket!! Thanks for the specs etc. but do you have any fit pics to get a perspective of fit on your frame? That would certainly help me. My concern is the chest size especially when reaching overhead.
Also, is this HH or Steer? I can’t tell.
Thanks.
Be well. Bowen

Thanks for the compliment--it is a great jacket. I'll see what I can do to get some fit photos.

The jacket is steerhide. Langlitz doesn't use horsehide and have just recently started to offer goat.

Langlitz does offer Horsehide (ask and you shall receive) and they've used Goat for many years.
