Another museum piece, Alan!
 Alan's a museum piece???;)
But seriously, a beautiful hat, and you wear it with plenty of style as usual.
Thanks Richard. The color listed on the tag of this one is Cornhill.

Thanks Charlie. It does have some curl for sure. Are you taking the Stetson cross country skiing today? Looks like the conditions are right.

Thanks Scotty. Did you get it at the Top Hat Cafe?

Manuel Hernandez, the soda jerker who sold Lana Turner the soda which she was sipping a year ago when "discovered" by the movies and given a contract, preparing another soda for Miss Turner at the 17 year old beauty's "Discovery Anniversary" party at the "Top hat cafe soda fountain" located at 6750 Sunset Blvd, across the street from the Hollywood, High School, which she was then attending.

lana turner was discovered here at the top hat cafe, not at schwab's

Thank you Mr Barnes. You've been killing a lot of looks lately. I do like the stingy, but maybe you need a little more bongo.

Thanks Red. I wish I had a flange for that curl. The coat was made by First American Clothes out of Harris Tweed. I'm guessing in the early 1950s. Love the green Strat today. Always love the green Strat.

Thanks Perry. Your hat, vest and cardigan combo was the epitome of the casual dressy look.

Thanks all,
Michael
Thanks Michael. I'm getting to that age where casual dressy works best for me.:)

Now... THAT is a hat to wear while you lurk in corners waiting for the opportunity to rub someone out. It reminds me of Elisha Cook, Jr. as Wilmer in the Maltese Falcon. Fantastic, Eric.

Thanks sir. Not all Whippets are created equal - this one has a more maleable felt, big wide brim and a swoopy brim treatment. No massages given today - yet. (Rub someone in Minnesota, why we would have to get close and actually touch another person.)

Nothing like an exhibition of daily selfies snapped over a decade to make one painfully aware of the slow transition from prince to mummy. But thanks for the thumbs up, guys... it is a rare old hat.
