They are fabulous initials, but what do you have against suap, korupsi or gratifikasi?The PJB initials are the ONLY reason why I bid on this hat. They are my favorite initials of all time. Absolutely dreamy...
Do you have any idea how hard it is to find good gratifikasi? And suap...just never mind. Haters gonna hate.

Thank you... Robert estimated the hats from this group at pre-war, 1920s-1930s. The have a newer feel to me but they are also new stock... as fresh as they day they left the factory. Here is a manufacturing tag from this hat:

Mike, thanks! It's a joy to wear too. I admit I'm not very good with beaters and tend to take them out of the hat-genepool altogether. I received two today that had better hopes for than turned up at the doorstep. They did not have redeeming qualities and will go the way of the dodo I'm afraid (not all my purchases are a success).

Must have done the old-timer good to be out in the fresh air again. The hat looks fine tooWhen I joined the ICSFHOW (that's the International Confraternity of Stiff Felt Hat Owners and Wearers) back in 2012, I covenanted that I would never go 9 full days without wearing a stiff felt hat.
Since today is the 9th day, I'm taking the c. 1900 vented Dunlap out for a spin.
