High winds have kept me indoors most of the day. Finally decided to brave the gusts in the only thing that would stay on, this patchwork cap by Hanna Hats of Donegal, Ireland.

Modern era Stetson

Since the interior photo looked pristine, and having had no familiarity with The Imperial, Key Club or Ultimate Finish, I decided to take a chance on this brown or black. Figured I could wear it with a recrease and a thinner ribbon. However..

Only a recrease was necessary.

I never expected this color to come out of the box. To my eye it reads a black brim and a deep purple crown.

Guessing they call it Navy, but it’s purple, Pimpin’

Yesterday was our first 70'F day since Fall 2017. The ice has retreated to the middle of the lake. An un-lined Cordova Cap was perfect for the weather.

This mornings cool temps found me in a vtg. Stetson DeLuxe Stratoliner.

Knox Madison Avenue. Last felt for a while, I suppose. Temperatures are supposed to go summer tomorrow. Bummer...

Color doesn't photograph too well in this morning's sun. This one from a month or two back is more on point.

Outside chores required a quick change of hats and a jacket as it has started to rain. A Gannon (beaver moss green felt) was the choice this morning.

Nortwest hat worked on Sunbody unfinished straw hat

This hat with the companion in a stretch session is one of the best for not so hot weather

It is the best companion in the morning stroll in the "Worker day"
