I do think that people around here wear the sleeves on their jackets way too long which is unflattering to my eyes and also very annoying (Specially when riding, having the leather hit the top of your hand). I've always seen leather jackets worn just at wrist lenght and when I see them longer I don't like it.

An example:

A Lewis Leather just like McQueen wears in the other pic. I shouldn't go any further or it becomes specially annoying apart from looking too long.

People always want ask the feedback or "honesty" opinion, but you have to ask yourself what kind of comment you want to hear before you ask, apparently you keep ask people about the sleeve length, but you can't deny that you want to people say they like your short sleeve.

If you are going to stick with (or you really like)this jacket, why you need ask people's opinions. Short sleeve, longer sleeve, It doesn't matter, the most important thing is YOU like the jacket!

I like the jacket. Perhaps you missed my earlier post:

I'm not seeking to justify the sleeve length on my Taubers jacket. I'm more interested in knowing if authentic vintage cafe racers were designed with shorter sleeves in mind for riding.

Based on vintage photos and comments posted from our U.K. and Australian members, it seems that sleeves shorter than the contemporary preferred length were more the norm.
