I'm not too fond of the term either. I just don't like the sound of it. Same as "patina" and "fades" in the denim world.

Then again, I can't think of a better word to describe Aero's oil pull HH. . .

EXACTLY. When ads read "buttery soft!" about leather, I stop reading. I associate it with low quality hides that you could tear with your bare hands. Sub-mall lamb. Typically after a couple of weeks even my heaviest new leathers have been perfectly comfortable, though. There's no need whatever to artificially accelerate the break-in - just wear the damn thing.
I think you've just coined a new phrase: "Sub-mall lamb!" Perfect.
