Very nice and a great fit. You get away with the sleeve length as well. A Sherpa denim from Iron Heart would be very tempting if it’s released, although I have more sheepskins than I’ll ever need. I used to dream about those Levis Sherpa denim jackets when I was a kid and couldn’t afford one, now it might seem substandard.

This just arrived - listed and labelled as a G1. It’s pretty close to the ANJ3 I’ve been trying to cosmically order. I got it for a reasonable price owing to a couple of ‘stains’ which turned out to be starch based so an easy clean!

US Authentic gives you the option of the leather or mouton collars. I've had one of these jackets and they're really great, especially for the price.

Had a SHORT window to wear this today before warming up (excuse my sweaty hair  )... New (to me) Aero AAF type AN-J-3. This jacket was virtually unworn, and has some of the most superb veg-tanned, thick, full-of-character goatskin I've seen in years. Damn near like a cross between horse & goat... Nice stuff!. I've lusted after 'the' AAF type AN-J-3 for many years, but was never quite satisfied with what I've owned. IMO (besides a couple of detail niggles), Aero REALLY knocked this one out of the park. Tagged my size (44), the jacket has room, but is trim, with great forearm taper. Looks like a jacket I would want to wear in a tight cockpit for certain.. :)

Some shy away from the AAF type AN-J-3's larger collar, but it is one of the original features I particularly like, and important for authenticity (I also think I can pull it off well too... :p ;)). While not advertised by the seller, the jacket sports an optional NOS M-43 Talon zip (double-marked) VERY pleasant surprise. :D

EDIT: Another pic showing the excellent stitching on the collar back. The machine-operator at Aero who stitched the jacket (Christine, there since 1986) knows her way around these type of articulated-back leather military jackets for damn sure: ;) (Lighter brown color must be from the flash)

I’ve expanded my jacket collection to finally include the iconic Levi’s denim Trucker Jacket! It’s getting a bit hot to wear my leather ones consistently and since I liked the Levi’s leather trucker so much, I got the denim one:). It’s a size small and a bit shorter than the leather version. I’ve bought so much from Levi’s lately that I should get stock in it:p!

today I went to the vet to visit my old pet cat that is being in their care since monday this week from mouth and jaw infection, but he died earlier today... a little sad :(

So sorry to hear that! Always sad when pets pass away. Did you have him for a long time?

Sorry to hear it Nav...I've had to do the same with two dogs over the past 2 years. It's heartbreaking. Pets teach you how to love something selflessly and their lives burn super bright and fast.
