I’ve had this 60’s Kehoe for a couple of years now, what a nice jacket to wear.
Most comfortable leather jacket I own, it’s steerhide, tough but quite light and extremely supple, probably too because it is a 50-year-old jacket nevertheless.
I’m the second owner of this beauty, my now two year old son will be the third owner when the time comes.

Very nice. Your description of your Kehoe matches my experience with mine. And you'll make your jacket even more special by passing it on to your son one day.

My collection of Brooks Gold Label Cafe Racers.

I purchased a #brooks gold label #buckleback cafe racer (top left brown jacket) in January and had actually thought it was lost in the mail ... but it finally arrived last week. It is tagged as a size 44 jacket and measures 23 3/4 pit to pit. This is the same size as the upper right black jacket (no size tag)... my very first! The buckle back is the only jacket with ... you guessed it ... buckles on the back, but one was actually missing, but I was lucky enough to find a replacement and had to do some cutting and stitching to add the buckle, fortunately the stitching is not visible ... also, this is the only jacket with NO pit vents. It does have all original talon zippers.

The upper right black jacket is my very first #brooks gold label cafe racer. This is the only jacket with a black diamond quilted lining ... all the others have a smooth black lining. The only original zippers left are the talon chest pocket zips. Main and sleeve zips are replacement YKKs

The bottom left brown jacket is the most recent purchase (as I had believed the buckle back was a no show. This is a smaller jacket ... size 40 and measures 21 1/2 pit to pit. It also has all original Talon zippers.

The last jacket ... black one ... lower right ... is my most expensive purchase ... hand painted by #thegreatchinawall company, and although is sized as a 42 it measures 21 3/4 pit to pit. All the zippers looks to be original, however the two sleeve zippers are NOT Talons (see last pic) ... any feedback on these zippers will be greatly appreciated.

So there you have it ... my vintage #brooks gold label cafe racers. Have a great #Easter!

Monitor, that’s right, mine has them because I had Johnson construct them lol. Matching brass ring pull & cotton duck, made the jacket much more wearable.

Here's an interesting vintage Brooks gold label in a style I haven't seen before. Straddles the line between cafe racer and "jacket" perhaps:

Oh yeah, Brooks did quite a few versions of this... Trucker style, don't know what to call it. There's one that's my favorite (looking) jacket ever just that it rarely turns up and it's never in my size. I haven't seen one in a few years.

That is very cool....after my recent vintage Brooks experience it makes me very nervous if they don’t specify “no odours” though....

At a $99, even if it stank to high heaven, I'd just toss it into a washing machine for a few cycles. It looks literally as good as my Schott CM1. Sans gussets. Measurements are especially good. Man, a can of black or brown Fiebing and it's the coolest CR on the block.

Unless it's red. ;)
