Numerous Canadian fly boys helped defeat the vile Nazis, serving in both our own Royal Canadian Air Force as well as in the Royal Air Force. It was my pleasure to have known some of these men, who variously flew Lancasters & Halifaxes for Bomber Command, as well as Spitfire fighter planes. Sadly they've all since joined their young comrades who never returned home to their loved ones.
Like other combatant nations, Canada had auxiliary formations of women who aided their respective service branches on the land & seas as well as in the air.

I found myself in need of some extra clothing options - way. Sometimes I think God only invented the men's Oxford cloth button-down shirt for just such situations.
