Another attempt to sell a few to make room for some of the beauties currently coming up for sale here day for day.. I'll create thread with summary of the jackets and will edit with more info and pictures later depending on demand. Kind of lazy rn, sorry. I'm not actively looking for any jackets at the moment, but i'm still open to trade offers, too.

Selling:

1. Unworn, only tried on Aero Cheyenne brown clx fqhh size 40, runs large, about 24" pit to pit. 500€
https://www.thefedoralounge.com/thr...-cal-leathers-new-company-cross-zip-42.92306/

2. Vanson CHP2 size 42 with belt. Roughly 22" pit to pit. 400€
https://www.thefedoralounge.com/threads/vanson-chp2.90050/

3. Vanson Civil Flight jacket styled loosely after the G1 in brown competition weight leather in very good condition from the 90s, gently worn. Tagged 40, runs large, more like a 42. 350€ (I picked this up very recently for less but import costs from US took its toll. Still a fair price for one of those rare brown Vansons I think.)

4. Cal Leathers motorcycle jacket, no size tag, fits like a large 40 though, roughly 22" pit to pit. Very heavy leather, thinsulate lining, fleece in the cuffs. Jacket has very little wear, none of those ripped pieces from the 50s or 60s, this one probably is from the 80s or 90s. 400€.

5. Vtg Monarch Hip-Length Jacket, size 40. Has some smell to it, haven't tried to air it out yet, can try to minimize smell before selling if serious interest. very flattering fit with elastics at waist, leather and lining in good condition, nice pocket set up. 200€
https://www.thefedoralounge.com/threads/vtg-monarch-milwaukee-leather-jacket.91411/

6. Vtg german 50s or 60s motorcycle jacket in pretty much perfect unworn condition, rare piece for sure. Moss green color. Roughly Size 40. Zipper is damaged, will need to be replaced. For that reason selling for a 100€.

7. Schott Bomber jacket 674 in tan brown with mouton collar and fleece lining. Size 42. Has one little flaw (small hole simply oversewn with a small piece of leather) which which is hidden under one of the pocket flaps. Tagged 42, runs smaller. 150€

The pricing on those is probably not so attractive for people from the US due to the import costs that come with shipping back and forth over the ocean. I will ship to the US or elsewhere than EU though if you pay the acordingly high shipping.

Payment is to be done by paypal family and friends or bank transfer. Regular paypal only accepted by those few members who I know and trust not to take advantage of paypals retarded "buyer always wins and gets a free return" policy for made up reasons. Can't be arsed to lose 150 USD shipping over a retard refund from a US buyer, sorry. That being said, if I overlooked any serious flaw and actually mispresented one of the jackets by mistake, I'll take it back regardless of payment method. I hold my name in this place in high esteem and have successfully sold a fair bunch of jackets here already, no plans to rip anyone off.

Let me know if you are interested into any of those, I may also be interested into trades. I'll supply you with more info, fit pictures and whatever else you may want to know.

Thanks,

I wouldn't think there'd be an import duty on a used jacket shipped overseas. I've bought plenty of used vintage jackets from ebay sellers in the UK and not had to pay any import duty. Shipping is kinda high, though.

There generally is customs and import duty on any goods brought into the market, at least when importing into the EU. Used or not used makes no difference here. I don't know whether that's different in the US, I would be surprised though. I'll take a wild guess and say german customs offices are just more organized and strict about enforcing those fees than the US offices are. German bureaucracy is next level stuff, I'm telling you.

When shipping between the countries that don't have a customs union agreement, any package you're sending or receiving must have a declared value on it, regardless of what's inside and in what state it is. For example, it's not possible for me to send a jacket to the US if I don't state its value. Then there's a whole different issue if there already a registered company in my country, selling the same item I'm trying to import, in which case I'll probably end up paying as much as I would had I bought it here but for the stuff they can't easily determine the value of, like the second hand goods and such, they won't bother checking the true value, as long as it hasn't been declared at something stupid as $4. Then you have to provide a copy of a Paypal/eBay/whatever correspondence/receipt to prove it and even then they can disregard that and calculate the tax based on what they estimate the item is worth. . .

You probably didn't need to pay the import duty on the jackets you've bought from the UK because they declared it at a value that's under the taxation threshold, also something that usually depends on the trading agreement between the two countries.

That's my assumption, as well. I don't know what the threshold is, but I only have had to pay import duties on 2 of my (new) Aero jackets, and my Sheene must have been under the threshold, which if that's the case would put the limit somewhere around $900-1000 USD. I've never had to pay any import duty on anything used, and I've bought jackets from sellers in the UK, Germany, Thailand, and Japan.

It's also possible that I'm just lucky, and the enforcement is very sloppy.

Additional pictures and measurements of the Schott jacket: Tan color of this is hard to catch with my bad iphone camera, the close up of the 58 cm pit to pit resembles the actual color the closest. Please note the repair under the left pocket flap.

Additionakl pictures and measurements of the vtg Monarch. note the fraying zipper tape of the main zippper in last pic. Zipper is still operating as of now, cannot garantue for heavy or much use.

edit; just noticed that the automatic sizing down of the forum software makes it impossible to read the measuring tapes numbers; pit to pit measured as shown is 57,5-58, sleeve measured as shown 63,5-64, back length ~76cm

Take notice of the beautiful french seams holding together this 70 years old jacket!

Just noticed I cannot edit the initial post anymore. Is this time window on edits new? Fairly annoying imho, would like to petition for this to be removed. Best case it's a hassle, worst case it's stopping someone from deleting old pictures of theirs and requires having to call the bartenders to fix old posts..

Anyway, the green german jacket is no longer for sale, i decided i like it too much and will have the zipper replaced and keep it.

Also have a Schott Trucker jacket in beautiful lightweight cordovan leather with 24" pit to pit and 19" hem fitting someone larger than my 5'9" (jacket too long on me) and with an accordingly broad shoulder slim waist figure.

I also very seriously consider selling my Aero Zipsleeve HWM in stupidly heavy brown CLX Steerhide size 38 weighing in at more than 4kgs.. it just sees way too little wear rn to justify having it hanging around...

Sorry, forgot.
PTP:57cm
Backlength:62cm
Sleevelength:a whopping 67cm measured around the curve, I feel like they wear shorter, though
Shoulder:47,5cm
Diameter at the waist:53cm

It's a beast of a jacket, if you search through my profile you will find pictures of the jacket wearing me.

Btw everyone, I may also sell my size 40ish Langlitz Columbia in heavy dark brown (nearly black) cowhide, pm if interest and I measure it up.

I'm not pushing it flat by force, I just zip the jacket up and put it flat on the ground. If you fit into a size 40 Vanson model B, i believe you will fit into this HWM. Because I own both jackets and both fit me. it's a bit shorter than the model b in the front, though. You know from your own HWM how these rise up a bit in the front.

I am interesting to see some Langlitz pictures and measurements, thank you

PTP 56 cm
Shoulder 49 cm
Sleevelength 63 cm
Backlength 71 cm

I have two pictures here on the german ebay kleinanzeigen, let me know if you wanna see anything more specific.

Insanely cool jacket btw, I just never wear it because I have another Langlitz with the cossack collar that I just prefer to this classic collar.

I measured my Vanson b, almost same on pit to pit, do you have some pictures shows current condition of jacket? How much you asking?
I remember it is heavy cotton lined? What's the exactly weight of jacket?

Thanks
