Great Pics, you guys, your hats and Mother Nature all look great in these pics...You asked me if I knew a guy...I'm guessing he must me a Jazz player around Seattle...Fraid not, but I'm relatively new to this area, transplanted from the East Coast by way of Istanbul...I'm still meetng some new cats every week. Wife and I fell in love with these mountains and scenery and had to move here...These pics are a perfect example...We went out the Columbia Gorge today, stopping at Crown House on the old Crown Point Hwy, then to Multnomah Falls. A nice day all around... still only 74F here. Sorry for you gents in the high heat and humidity.

Thanks, Mike. Every straw should develop a bit of character. So do felts for that matter. That Portis looks cool; gotta love these lightweight felts.
About to depart to Acapulco on a short vacation. I will only take two straws with me: This Palmas Panama and my Optimo Milan.
My Optimo Panama stays home in the safe. Too valuable to risk damage to.
