Probably so, I found that most boot complaints stem from improper fit. Years ago the shops selling even factory boots, would properly fit the boot. Sometimes spot stretching for foot irregularities. Not so much now, unless you get custom.

I don't know. Maybe the problem are my feet. For years I wore tennis shoes. They probably are not used to run over hard leather/surface. I should find something to put between my feet and the boot sole.
If the boots are not too tight a padded insole might help. They are an adjustment if you've never worn them. I just can't remember when I didn't.

They aren't too tight but they are not loose too. Some times I have to stand up for 4 hours or more and my feet start to hurt for about 1 to 2h then I need to take them off.
Need to find my old tennis shoes.

I do understand your opinion of ropers,Greg.I'm cursed by some foot/ankle issues that make normal cowboy boots really painful most of the time.

I tried that out as I weigh too much for my height....figured if I grew a few inches it would work itself out.....starting wearing cowboys boots with the stack heel......dang if I am not still overweight!Yes sir Ropers are very comfy. I like stack heels, makes me look taller.

I've got the same weight problem but an 1 1/2" taller makes you look a little thinner.

These Star Wars boots by Rocketbuster are some next level sh*t. I wouldn't be interested in wearing these but that makes me no less blown away by the artistry and craftsmanship that went into them.
