What a brilliant name, what a fabulous dog. We open our homes and our hearts to our pets. We love cherish and enjoy their company and saying farewell hangs heavy. But it's that love that tells us what we must do, no matter how painful it is for us. True animal lovers will never let a pet suffer, doesn't make it any easier though.R.I.P. Cocoa-Mojo (“Mo”). What a beauty! Dogs really do enrich our lives, they show us what love and loyalty look like.
For the first 2 yrs after he passed I said to myself no more dogs. When I changed my mind it took me most of another yr to select a breeder & a breeding pair. I put down a deposit & had 3rd pick of the litter. I still occasionally look & follow websites on some of the breeders I studied.

I did the first two males that I had. I haven't hunted this female because I'm getting too damn old. We go to the woods all the time though, & she has been riding in a canoe since she was 6-7 months old. They're good swimmers will fully webbed digits on their paws.
Yeah, i hear that. Seems my go done gone. Lol. She poses nice in Daddy’s arms!
Catahoula's are herders & they herd from the front by turning the cow or feral hog instead of nipping at the hocks from behind. She runs cows, & has had the opportunity to round up freerange chickens & put them in the coop for the night a few times. They come by that naturally.
