Just a heads up to those who may have been pondering a new Vanson jacket. As the title of this thread indicates - 15% off all orders (in stock & special order).

I obtained a Vanson C2 last year and just jumped in on a Maverick competition weight Black leather jean jacket which will take 6-8 weeks to arrive.

The sale graphic below states that any e-mail order would receive the discount (if received during the sale date(s)) so if you don't get a reply before the end-of-sale time frame then you would still receive the discount once you have established your custom/special order. Of course you could call them too.

I sent them an email about 3 weeks ago, no reply. Called yesterday but the girl was new and really didn't know much yet. I did a custom order about 10 or 12 years ago. It was a bad experience. was quoted 6 weeks, but took almost a year! The jacket was high quality, but never really fit right. I really don't blame them on the fit part, but I heard every excuse in the book about the wait. I really hope they turned that part around. I am going to try again with them, but I am hoping to go "off the rack".

I wonder if the sale includes having them make alterations on a jacket? I got a comet in octagon that I think would be perfect with an extra inside pocket and the normal price for that is 75 big ones, apparently. Which when combibed with postage to and from the UK aint gonna be a cheap fix

I just got off the phone with them. I ordered a model "E". I am really not sure about the alterations. What kind of pocket are you adding? A gun pocket, a zippered pocket?

I'd go for one the same as what it came with, the standard one. It's not zippered but it's a pretty good pocket. I just feel like having 2 there would complete the jacket

I agree. I like/use inside pockets. Can never have enough.
