The LVC Einstein jacket:

I bought this late in the spring this year and I have only worn it a few days.... it’s a rainy Saturday here today and I figure I owed the lounge a few pictures ( iPhone propped on the couch)
if anyone has any interest in the collectors item bit with this jacket it’s # 276 of 500, I still have the bottle of Einstein scent too.. i never opened it
I plan to just wear the jacket

Very nice! Love that small collar!

The description for these jackets say that LVC tried to recreate the patina just like the original, yet yours doesn’t seem to have any kind of distressing. Do you think you just happen to get a “cleaner” one? I’ve definitely seen some of these that have way more distressing.

There is an original on ebay. Only one I have seen. Very small size, has the original tag. Very interesting jacket.

@jeo, I don’t think I ever read about this jacket being distressed. This one and the others I’ve seen online are not. The original LVC Menlo in unlined Goatskin was distressed maybe you were thinking of this one?

The original jacket that Levi’s bought a few years ago smelled like pipe smoke and other Einstein funk, LVC tried to recreate that smell ..I’m not sure if I’m supposed to wear it like cologne or pour it on the jacket... either way it’s staying in the box
