The Demon is apparently traveling via stagecoach. It was shipped from California Monday and FedEx predicts delivery next Thursday. I hope it doesn't strain a forelock during the trip.

That's on the seller. They print the label which registers with eBay & generates their power seller rating, but then take a few days more before getting to the post office & actually shipping. I get that all the time too.

They are brand names. Cambiaghi is as I recall the predecessor of Cappellificio Monzese (located in Monza, Italy). Berteil was the French hatter where Guiseppe Borsalino started as an apprentice. Had to have that one for that reason alone (there are other reasons too, but I'll wait with those until I get the hat.

Stephan, when you get that Berteil we gotta commiserate. I’ve yet to see another. They have such history and so little historical info that i’ve found!! I’m excited for you on this one!!! After all Mr. Borsalino learned his trade there and took some vat felt when he left.
