Thanks Bowen, and I agree, the Benz has been absent for way too long. The brakes are done, and the car should be up and completely on the road by tomorrow, so expect more selfies with the car photobombing me in the near future

Today is a day for blessings. I wore a favorite go to synagogue hat from Saks. 37 years ago today, my partner of 45 years and I had a small ceremony with friends. She also wore an outfit from Saks.

You are indeed blessed, sir, even without the hat. That kind of relationship is a rare thing and something to be treasured.

It wasn't too bad. I was a brave little soldier so I got to get a milkshake on the way home. It's just a rule I have. After any kind of medical appointment, if I don't cry, I get a milkshake. Drives my wife crazy.

Hope the Stem Cells do their job!!
Many prayers and blessings to you.
Semper Fi and thankful!

You just have these hats just fall into your hands whenever you are out and about. You amaze me.
WEre it so, were it so.

Classic looking OR Michael.
Thanks Red.

After seeing Rodolfo's navy Gannon on the lounge yesterday it prompted me to bring out mine. Navy Gannon with a bow feature to honor my Alma Mater. Black and bronze (orange) for the Beavers! Full 6" crown may just be a little too tall, have to do some reshaping.

That is a high crown beauty, Red. Looking forward to seeing the bash evolution.

Michael! This has got to be your best hat worn to date. The flat front khaki/chinos just kills it!

All that's missing is a wild and crazy tattoo! :D Just kidding!

Roadopen
Thanks Roadopen. It is a pretty nice one. A few unfortunate moth nips, but, fortunately, they reside inside the bash.

Wouldn't you know, we are due for our first day of real felt hat temperatures and the wind is forecast to be over 20 mph. Drat. Will have to find a tight fitting stingy for my trips around town.

Thanks all,
Michael

Wow!

Wearing my unlined, unmarked, I-am-pretty-sure-it-is-a-dobbs-because-it-was-found-with-another-dobbs-with-the-same-sweatband-markings 7 1/8 LO hat today.
I will take it to Ignacio to be reblocked to my weird-shaped skull with a conformer this afternoon. It really is a beautiful hat with an excellent felt. Ignacio does it while I watch, for 32 dollars a hat. Well worth it. [emoji2]

Nice looking brim on that Could-be-a-Dobbs Max. I can't place the Long Oval tag, it looks familiar but I'm not sure it is Dobbs. I want to say the Dobbs tag was colored and shaped differently (probably just an old memory playing tricks), any tag clues under the sweat?. No matter what, very nice looking hat.

What better way to avoid wrestling a big white hairy dog for a bath then to post up a big white hat.
I don’t believe i’ve ever thrown this one out here before. This one’s owner knew a good crease, i think. I wouldn’t dream of changing a thing. He must have known Bama.
Stetson No.1, star sweat, maple liner with plastic and a pic of why some people should not wear a brim up on some hats!!
Ha
Be well. Bowen
Ps: maybe tomorrow will be it’s brother, black hat Fri.
Super impressive Bowen, you sure show off some amazing hats.

Went stingy with a Resistol back bow.

Yay! Back bow heaven Brent. I suppose there is a thread for these around these parts, if not, why not?

It is great to see this one again. That ribbon and bow are gargantuan (in a good way) :):):p

That bow is so cool Justin. The felt looks like it just begs to be touched.

Echter Borsalino "Amiata" possibly late 1930s early 1940s.

My Echter Borsalino from after the war has that gray sweat band too. Makes me wonder? Did they continue using them post WWII? Sure love this one Steve.

Long day. Missed the daylight pics. Borsalino “Vincenzo” in olive.
