just got home from lunch with my wife..... Peter Bros today. Indy Brown 5" crown and 3" dimensional cut brim. My very first custom hat back in 1994. This is the one that started it all.....<sigh>

High quality, for sure. The weave is incredibly fine, and supple as can be. Can't vouch for it's previous treatment, as I found it at a thrift store, unblocked and unfinished, tossed carelessly in with a bunch of cheap straws and trucker hats and various other hats that were basically garbage. Found it more by feel than anything as I sifted through the bin. Glad I checked there!

That brim treatment looks a lot like when I ironed out the brim curl of my Borden homburg, but without the band of darker felt between the top binding and stitches for the bottom of the binding where the sun didn't fade the felt.
